Raised in Pickens County Georgia, Kevin has devoted his entire adult life serving the needs of those in his community. After graduating Pickens High School, Kevin pursued a degree in Funeral Service from Gupton Jones College of Funeral Service in Decatur, Georgia. Later he obtained his bachelor's degree in business from Ottawa University.
In 2001 he purchased Roper Funeral Home in Jasper, Georgia and continues to own and operate it today. Kevin also served as Pickens County Coroner from 2004-2016. He served as President of the Georgia Coroner's Association in 2013. While serving as Coroner he investigated numerous deaths including motor vehicle accidents and homicides.
In 2014, Kevin developed an interest in becoming an attorney and started his journey to become a lawyer. After graduating law school, and successfully passing the Georgia Bar, he opened his law firm in his hometown of Jasper.
Kevin has since established a track record of success including many personal injury claims involving motor vehicle accidents, wrongful death, and premise liability claims.
Kevin is a member in good standing of the Georgia Bar, the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association, and a member of the National Trial Lawyers Association where he was recognized in 2020 as a Top 100 as a Civil Plaintiff Attorney.
He and his wife Leslie currently reside in Canton, Georgia.
Kevin considers it an honor and privilege to serve and be a voice to those that have been wronged. He stands ready to help those in need from the mountains to the city.
